I will be signing books at the 29th annual University Club Meet the Authors Night in Washington, D.C.  More than 500 attendees, including University Club members, guests and the general public will discuss, buy and have books personalized by some of the nation's leading authors. Last year a record number of books were signed and sold. I have been invited to be the featured speaker for the Oberlin Heritage Center on Feb. 12, 2019, during Black History Month. The venue will be Oberlin's historic First Church, which played a major role in the antislavery cause and was the site of a memorial service for John Anthony Copeland, one of the Five for Freedom.  More details to come.
