I will be speaking with readers of FIVE FOR FREEDOM: The African American Soldiers in John Brown’s Army  at the Lewes, Delaware Public Library on the afternoon of July 18.  I look forward to a lively discussion of their story and what it means for us today.  They died to liberate their enslaved families and others.  It is very much a part of history that still resonates.
