Where in the World is the Largest Food & Agricultural Library — and Why?

The National Agricultural Library (NAL) is located at 10301 Baltimore Avenue in Beltsville, Maryland. But, why was this particular site on the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC) selected?

NAL is hosting a panel discussion of experts on the history of the Library, BARC, Beltsville, and the surrounding Prince George’s County area. Join us as we to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Abraham Lincoln Building.
